With 2020 approaching, now is a good time to book trips abroad for music concerts. But it’s not always easy to choose the artist you want to see, since some are great for the radio or your Spotify, but are not as great when performing in front of a live audience. This list will showcase some of the best music talent that are known specifically for their incredible live shows.
#1 Bruce Springsteen
The American icon, also known as The Boss, has sold more than 130 million albums, and is constantly touring worldwide with his great crew, The E Street Band. Bruce is well-known for his electric live concerts, many of which are super long (more than 3 hours!) and the song list is determined by The Boss in real time according to the vibe from the audience.
#2 The Rolling Stones
This iconic British rock band has been rocking and rollin’ for almost half a century, and amazingly, they are still at their prime. The band has been touring all around the globe, and are well-known among concert-goers as one of the best live acts in the music industry, with just as much energy, excitement and pure musical talent as they had decades ago.
#3 Bruno Mars
This talented musical artist is an amazing live entertainer, incorporating both awesome vocals and Michal-Jackson-level dance moves. With infectious charisma, Mars has been selling out stadiums globally, and is showing no signs of slowing down.
Due to her damaged vocal chords, Adele has not been touring very frequently, but when she does, you should be fast to try and get some tickets before the venue is sold out. Adele likes to let the audience sing to the well-known lyrics of her hits, so be sure to memorize “Someone Like You” and “Rolling in the Deep” beforehand.
Queen Bey is without a doubt the most famous artist on the planet, and that won’t make your life easy trying to get tickets to one of her huge concerts. The singer-songwriter always shows up with stunning vocal abilities and an intense dancing routine, making it clear that a ton of practice and effort has been put into each show.
#6 Red Hot Chili Peppers
This rock/funk band has been rocking hard and building their fan base for more than four decades. Many of us have grown up listening to their head-banging tunes, so there is definitely some nostalgia involved in attending on of their concerts, but make no mistake – it’s still a music spectacle well worth your money.
#7 Kanye West
Kanye is a natural choice for this list. Born a natural performer, Kanye’s shows are known to be bombastic, extravagant, and always include some elaborate and unique set pieces. Kanye is the creative and artistic mastermind behind everything he does, both in the recording studio and on stage. Kanye has recently been touring with his Sunday Service show, and has popped up all over the states, surprising his fans.
#8 Elton John
You probably know the lyrics to more Elton John songs that you think, and a night out at one of his shows would be a fun way to test that. The music legend is touring globally, and has said that he will soon stop the worldwide traveling and touring. So if you didn’t realize it by now, 2020 is the year to see Elton live.
#9 Billy Joel
The Piano Man has been breaking just about every record in the book with his streak of sold-out performances at NYC’s Madison Square Garden. Seeing him live, playing the hell out of his piano, is an amazing experience, especially if you are planning on singing along to all of Joel’s timeless songs.
Not the first British band in our countdown, but definitely one that must be mentioned as the top 10 live performers of today. The band’s repertoire includes massive hits from “Yellow” to “viva La Vida” and many others, an hearing Chris Martin play and sing all of those live is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the devoted fans.
